When in Spain: Barcelona Travel Guide

Barcelona is a city in Spain located northeast, and is the capital of the Catalonia region. It’s the second most populous city in Spain with a population of around 1.6 million. While Spanish is the dominant language used in Spain, Catalán is also widely used in Barcelona and the rest of the cities in Catalonia region.

It’s known as the “sunny Barcelona” for being a warm city seated in the coastal area. It’s a pitstop of several cruise lines and the place to try out the best seafood dishes. A good time to visit Barcelona is in September, which offers a cooler temperature than summer but not too cold unlike winter time.

Barcelona is a big city, and there are a lot to see. Here’s a suggested itinerary that includes all must-visits that can be covered within 4-5 days.
