How to: Go Around Taipei By Train (4 Days and 3 Nights Itinerary)

Taipei is not just about the night markets. There are a lot of things to see and to do for all types of travelers. What I liked most is that everything is accessible by train. It is reliable and very easy to follow. In fact, the train links different districts, including remote areas like hot springs and mountains that are only a few stations away from the center.

Here is a suggested 4D/3N itinerary in Taipei:

Day 1 – City Center

Morning:
- Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall
- Taipei 101

Afternoon:
- Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall
- Longshan Temple

Evening:
Guangzhou Night Market

Day 2 – Tamsui District

Morning:
- Tamsui Fisherman’s Wharf

Afternoon:
- Fort San Domingo
- Consular Residence
- Aletheia University
- Tamsui Old Street

Evening: Shilin Night Market

Day 3 – Beitou District

Morning:
- Beitou Geothermal Valley
- Taipei Public Library (Beitou)
- Plum Garden
- Beitou Hot Spring Museum

Afternoon: Beitou Park

Evening:
Beitou Public Hot Spring (Millenium Hot Spring)


Morning:
- Maokong Gondola
- Maokong Tea Plantation
- Organic Tea Shopping

Afternoon:
Taipei Zoo
